Recipes for Change

Recipes for Change was the original Fair Trade Cook Book, published by Traidcraft many years ago and long-since out of print. We reproduce images of its pages here by permission. Click on a page to enlarge.

Fair Trade in the UK has changed enormously since the publication of Recipes for Change, and there are many more fairly traded ingredients available. As a result a few of these recipes have updated versions in the cook book: they are listed at the bottom of this page. More recent research on diet also suggests that the advice on complementary proteins can safely be disregarded.
