Feta cheese and tomato salad


Juicy cheese bites with a hint of sweetness.

English, but with Mediterranean ingredients.

Serve with a bowl of Zaytoun Fairtrade Olives, a ramekin of Zaytoun Za’atar, Zaytoun Olive Oil, and a focaccia still warm from the oven for a light lunch for two people.

This recipe contains the following types of ingredient: dairy and honey; plants and fungi.


200 g
feta cheese
cherry tomatoes
1 bunch
spring onions
10 ml
Zaytoun FAIRTRADE olive oil
10 ml
FAIRTRADE runny honey
10 ml
juice from a FAIRTRADE lemon
5 ml
crushed fennel seeds


Cut the cheese into pieces (to match the cherry tomatoes).

Wash the tomatoes and slice in two to release some juicy flavour.

Trim the spring onions and slice as fine as you can.

Mix the oil, honey and lemon juice in a salad shaker.

Put the cheese, tomatoes and onions in a serving dish and pour over the dressing.

Chill well and serve.
