Dipping Sauce

A sweet sharp sauce for dipping finger food.

This is a simple Greek recipe.

Ingredients

FAIRTRADE lemon
to taste
FAIRTRADE freshly ground black pepper
to taste
salt
50 ml
FAIRTRADE red wine
50 ml
vegetable stock
50 ml
tomato puree
50 g
FAIRTRADE sugar

Method

Preparation

Juice the lemon, discarding the skin and pith.

Cooking

Measure the wine, stock, sugar and tomato puree into a saucepan, add the lemon juice, and heat gently to a simmer.

Adjust the seasoning to your taste.

Allow to cool

To serve

Serve cool.
